    Maintenance Pruning for Azaleas

    1. Sterilize Your Tools

      Sterilize the pruners/loppers with isopropyl alcohol before and during use to reduce the risk of pathogens entering the plant through the pruning cuts.

    2. Remove Unhealthy Branches

      Identify and remove branches that are dead, damaged, or diseased. Make your cuts close to the branch collar to remove the branches entirely.
